Enter Architecture was recently honored in New York City by Contract Magazine as the 2009 Interiors Awards winner in the Healthcare category for Northshore Dental at Evanston Court. My husband Andrew and I attended the 30th Annual Interiors Awards Breakfast held Friday, January 30, 2009, at Cipriani as client and architect along with our two closest friends, Chris and Melanie Promecene. His firm; PH Design Shop, was responsible for the graphic design work on the project.
Of more than 630 entries, Andy's office was one of twelve winning projects.
There were over 500 people at this event and I must admit, it was overwhelming to be honored with a professional video presentation in such a beautiful way along side such talented firms with outstanding projects.
Jury Comment:
“A visit to the dentist has been transformed into an adventure; this is ingenious. The experience of natural light changes the stereotypical image of sitting in the ‘chair’ to something else. I want to go to this dentist. It feels like a spa. Lighting, both natural and artificial, is used effectively to create a visually stimulating environment.”

The project is published in the January 2009 issue of Contract Magazine.
This is my first national design award.
